2025 H1
The first half of 2025 has been one of the most surprising and spontaneous periods of my life so far.
Selling my first startup at 19
After building thnkrAI with one of my close friends from high school for 1.5 years, we sold the company in Jan 2025. At exit, we'd helped dozens of ecommerce retailers optimize over 1M product prices and track tens of thousands of competitors + boost sales by $50k.
Growth at Clover Labs
I joined Clover Labs to help build out their growth channels and distribution systems from Day 0 - as their first official employee. I helped build the growth systems that took Clover from 0 → $1M ARR in 42 days.
$10M company in 2 months?
I cofounded an agentic startup with a few friends from UVA during finals season. We grew it to thousands of users and MRR as well as received approx. $150k in committed capital from investors, valuing us at $10M in just 2 months. We shut down the company shortly after due to questions regarding school and part-time vs full-time.
Looking forward
There's a few key things I''ve learned that I'll leave here and will continue to apply going forward: 1) If you're going to build a company, you almost always need to be full time - no debate. 2) Tech itself is rarely a moat; key value add and experience for users is arguably most important, then distribution 3) School is largely a waste of time for pure educational reasons (minus fields whose systems require many years of true academic investment) - otherwise it's a better use of time to learn by doing 4) Committing to 1 thing with 100% effort is much better than committing to 5 things at 20% 5) Always bet on yourself
